Blazing Fire

Our love is like a blazing inferno

and yet we are drowning in the ocean.

He grew up on a planet that was Pern

and I would often cause a commotion.

We hold onto these previous memories

as his hopes were slowly fading away.

The true stories that are told about us

but he was led astray by a woman.

My broken heart was sinking in my chest,

all I can see is them being tangled

as I felt unimpressed by him leaving.

Soon he finds his new woman strangled.
